The storms have passed. At least for awhile the prairie is calm and the sky is clear. The Blue Moon, a full moon in Leo with the sun in Aquarius, is coming tomorrow. With it comes the potential for abundant creativity expressed.
Signs of Springtime are everywhere: Pussy Willow is in full bloom. Nettles are ready for soup and salads. Airborne pollen is on the move, looking for love. Pete and I are getting into signs of new growth too as we adjust and adapt to living public lives after years of isolation. Though we love the experiences of being out in the open, we're finding we need to take boundary-setting actions: people climb the steps to our little domicile, knock on the door and get just a little too close for comfort.
This little wagon on wheels and the small private space behind that laua'e frond stenciled door is our hide-away and our respite place.
To create more comfort for us and establish a bit of privacy we have an entry sign going up on the wall of our Golden Wagon. That's the sign up there at the top of the post.
Visitors are welcome for sure. Just give us a gentle ring of the bell, and a little time to collect ourselves to be with you. The trick will be learning a small tug will do; it doesn't take much to ring that bell.
That old brass bell was a gift to my folks many many years ago. It has a deep and powerful tone meant to beckon near and far. We're grateful for the solidity of that brass; it goes where we go and if it helps with boundaries? Creative boundary setting, that's a good thing.
Happy Blue Moon and Lunar Eclipse.
Can you relate?

Satori suggests:
"...The 11 degree Leo Moon opposes the 11 degree Aquarius Sun. The mode of the day is humanitarian and eclectic. It’s not easily moved or bothered. However, the creative spark of the fiery Moon mood is quite personal. It’s at once self oriented and generous. Why shouldn’t we be self oriented? Where else do we operate but from the self? Who does the giving and the loving and the creating? It comes from the self, from the heart.I'm inspired by those last two sentences, thanks Satori.
With this eclipse, we honor that condition. It’s not hubris if we’re balanced to serve humanity."...

We walked out to close the gate last night after dark. And found beautiful views of the moon and more ... over here with a few pictures. http://kilofromtheprairiefront.blogspot.com/2018/01/full-moon-and-lightning.html
